Don’t you just love getting new stuff? I love to get new stuff. Most of the time it’s life changing for me. Lol…
I remember when I was little I would get so excited anytime I got a new pair of sneakers. I would put them on and it was like magic! All of a sudden I could run so much faster, and jump so much higher. I felt like a new person wearing those new shoes!
Apparently this feeling spreads across multiple areas of my life. Today I got new contact lenses. I have tried trial pairs of lenses in the past, but I flunked out with them. They didn’t work very well, and I just kind of gave up on them. But recently I decided that I want to make a solid effort at wearing contacts.
When I got my glasses a year ago I had the same ‘new woman’ sensation. Now that I have contacts, I’m 97% confident I can jump higher! ;)
These lenses are already much better than the last attempts. I’m having a fun time looking at things with my new vision.
So in case one of you sees me in the near future, and you think something looks different; don’t worry, it’s just my new contacts. =)
