Two for One

Trax Ever since the weather turned chill I’ve been riding Trax Trains more and more.

We do have two vehicles. Adam takes one, and the other is the Corvair. I do love the Corv, but it just isn’t a lot of fun to drive in the cold weather.

Trax works out nicely for me because there is a station on the other side of the block from my home, and a station right outside my office building. It’s actually faster to take trax than it is to drive. Just as long as I don’t miss my train… Lol.

Speaking of missing trains, I’m very pleased that I haven’t indulged in that activity lately. Which brings me to my reason for posting today. The last few days I’ve been getting an extra bonus when I ride trax. I am a habitually late person, so I’ve been running to the trax station in the mornings. This way I get an extra boost of exercise that I didn’t intend to get. Bonus! Lol… So far I’ve continually made it to the station moments before my train arrives. We’ll have to see how long this streak lasts. Ha ha…

I also like riding trax because I get to observe some of the most interesting people. You never know who will grace the train car with you. This morning, someone behind me was whistling a tune somewhat loudly. What could be better? Why in the world wouldn’t you whistle while riding a train? It definitely put a smile on my face. =)

  1. it's so great to find joy in the small things like people in the train. I loved riding trax just for that reason!
