It was all Yellow

This photo is Adam and I at the Tech Museum in San Jose. It's a picture of our heat image. You can see Adam is holding the camera to take the picture, and I'm actually flexing...
Can I tell you some more of my favorite things? Sucka! You actually have no say as to whether or not I list them. You only have the option to read or not read.

1. Pandora. I've been listening to it most of the day today to block out the office chatter. I love it. Whoever created it should get a life size statue of him/herself put in a park. I would even allow the statue to be put in my front yard. ...I'm sure our landlords would love it too... =)

2. Cottage Cheese. It's like the equivalent of a fire extinguisher for starving Ambers. It's always there for me, just waiting to be eaten. It doesn't take any preparation, and it's full of yummy protein to satisfy the most urgent hunger. Mmmmm...

3. This is actually something I don't love. Marketing Scandals. Well, maybe I shouldn't go so far to call them scandals, but here is an example: Have you ever noticed how the lotion bottles with a pump don't remove all the lotion from the bottle? Inevitably you are left with an extra inch or so of lotion in the bottom of the bottle because the stick thing (does it have a name?) doesn't reach to the bottom. You are left with two options, 1. frustrate yourself by trying to get the rest of the lotion out, or 2. throw the bottle away and buy a new one. Obviously, option 2 is what the lotion manufacturer wants you to do because you will buy lotion more frequently. Very scandalous.

4. Noise cancelling headphones. Refer to comment about office chatter. I can put these lovelies on and go to my own little world rather than hearing about everyone else's worlds...

5. Gushers Fruit Snacks. I know they are full of nothing good, unless you consider the exciting burst of goo in the middle. I'm hooked.

6. My Husband. This really should be #1 on my list. In reality it is. I just don't want to sound like I'm bragging. In case any of you have ever questioned whether I love my husband or not (which I don't suppose you have), I do. I am infatuated with him. I have a stalker-like desktop picture at work with photos of him all over it. I daydream about him all day. He is honestly my best friend, and my all time favorite person to hang out with. Yeah, we have our difficulties just like any other couple, but we usually just sumo wrestle to get our frustrations out. ;)

7. Becky's Blog. It saved me from insanity yesterday when I was bored out of my mind. Thanks beck, you are delightful.

9. Making spreadsheets. I think I might have a disease because using excel gives me a thrill.

10. Asymmetry. Give me something off balance, and give me joy.

11. Change. I love it.

12. Planning/Finding/Thinking of the perfect gift. Basically just giving gifts in general, but only when it's a really great gift. Not when it's a gift that they might like but you couldn't find anything else and you were pressed for time. The real great gifts are so fab.

13. Glamorous by Fergie. Currently my very favorite song to rock out to in my car.

I think I've made a great list for the day. That's all folks!

  1. Yesssss!!! I made top 10!! Well . . . my random thoughts did . . . Good to know someone gets a kick out of it! I do it just because I have a lot of thoughts and if I don't get them out on paper or on an online journal they come out of my mouth. Let's be honest. Most of that stuff is better on paper or safely tucked away on the world wide web =). I love that you're your husband's stalker. It's fabulous. I love finding out market scandals and revealing their scandalosity!!! But usually when they try to cheat me I just get angry. Chip bags are the epitome of scandal. Seriously. And now I want to go get some gushers.
