I'm just not ready for it to be cold. One day it's an amazing 80-something degrees with a fabulous warm breeze. 24 hours later it's freezing outside, there's snow on the mountains, and a strong bone-chilling wind.
Come on! How about a little fall - leaves on the ground - sweater weather before we jump into icy cold?! Ugh. I want to move someplace warm. Southern California sounds just about right... =)
I'm finally getting out of my intense loathe of snow. I saw some christmas decorations this weekend and that got me excited. Adam and I also looked at new snowboards, and that helped too. But then this morning when my car had frost/slush on it's roof, I couldn't think about anything but being so freezing cold and not being able to wear enough layers of clothing to keep myself warm. I don't mind being out in 100 degree weather, but I hate anything below 60 degrees. Brrrr....
On another note, I've got a new fun website. http://www.curiosityshoppeonline.com/ I love this kind of stuff. It's hilarious! Many of you probably think that I just surf the web all day (which may be true...) otherwise how could I find all these sites? Well, I'll fill you in on a not so secret, secret. I get daily emails from DailyCandy.com. It's a fun site that sends you links to the newest, hippest, anything and everything. Becky, if you're reading this, you would love the clothing stores that they mention. Every time I see those stores I think of you. (I feel like a song should break out in the background right about now...)
Well, I have one more comment before I bring this post to a close. I was daydreaming this morning as I sat in my office chair and pondered the meaning of life... Okay, I was actually thinking about time management and how to cut time wasters out of your schedule. I concluded that I want to start spending the bulk of my day doing something I'm passionate about. I feel like I'm wasting my life in the daily grind. If anyone knows what I am supposed to be when I grow up, please, do tell!
How about you come move to Georgia!? It's staying real warm down here!
ReplyDeleteHow about you stay right where you stinkin' are. Because I don't think I could live in a state that doesn't have you in it. Unless you decide to move to Oregon or Washington. Then I'd gladly relocate with you =).
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm scared to check out that site. Who knows how many $$ I'll end up spending. Oh dear.
P.S. I've been at work for an hour and so far I haven't done anything but surf the web. I guess it's time that I buckle down and create invoices. *le sigh* Fridays are the worst for me.
OH! And I think you'd like these two artists:
