Awards of the Week

Here are my awards for fabulous things as of this week.

1. Anything Swiffer! I am the proud owner of a swiffer sweeper, and I must say I love it. I’ve got ‘Swiffer Wet-Jet’ on my christmas wish list. But for now, my swiffer wet sweepers are working great. The swiffer sheets are so great for my bathroom. Somehow, there always seem to be long blond hairs around the bathroom (I have no idea where they come from… *Cough*), but one swipe over the counter with a swiffer sheet, and they are gone. Also, swiffer dusters are a gift from heaven!! They are flexible, they fit anywhere, and they work! Dust doesn’t stand a chance.

2. Left hand turning lanes that go over trax train tracks. There are a lot of people who get real nervous whenever they are in the left-hand turning lane, and a trax train pulls up behind them. I am not one of these nervous people. I celebrate having trains behind me! That means my lane gets priority over all the other lanes in the intersection so that my car will be out of the way for the train to go through. Woot!

This is Adam and I last February. You can’t really see my black scarf against the black shirt, but look how happy I am to be wearing it. ;)

3. Scarves. I used to hate wearing scarves when I was little. I hated how itchy they were, and I felt like I was suffocating. Last year I bought a couple of real soft scarves and I LOVE wearing them! They are so comfortable, and fun to accessorize with. Check out this blog post and this one for different ways to wear scarves.
