Well we made it back. I came back the beginning of August so that I could get an apartment and a job. We thought that would be a better idea than me waiting until the end of august like we originally planned because we would have got back only a day or two before Adam starts school. So I came back early, and didn't quite get an apartment or job in place, but both are basically a done deal.
We looked at an apartment that we really want. Assuming that our application goes through, we could move in this week! We are staying with my grandparents in Bountiful in the mean time. Also, I went through the final stages of interviewing for a receptionist position at EDC Utah (www.edcutah.org). I'm 90% sure that I've got the job, and I'm really excited about it.
Adam got home from Philly on thursday. He and 4 other guys drove their 3 cars home. They left Philadelphia weds at 1pm, and didn't stop until they got to salt lake on thurs at 7:30pm! They rotated around between cars, and achieved their goal to reach salt lake in about 35 hours.
Adam starts school at the U tomorrow. He is majoring in International Studies and Russian. Many of you know that he was working this summer to get 200 installs so we can go to Hawaii this winter with the company. Well, he hasn't quite made it yet, he's got about 185 installs right now. We've got our fingers crossed that he'll be able to finish the last 15 here in salt lake this week.
