First Impressions

We got here. I didn't realize at first that it was humid. It just felt stuffy, but in utah that feeling usually goes away. I found out that it doesn't really go away here. The locals tell us that it isn't even humid right now, 'wait til july.'

Our apartment is not what I expected. Our apartment in Denver was so nice last year, so I had high expectations. This is actually worse than our apartment in utah! That makes utah sound bad... Let me explain, utah was a step down from denver, and now philly is a step down from utah. This is kinda weird, but there aren't very many lights on the celing! In the bedrooms we only have lamps. I find it really odd.

I kinda have a fear of bugs. There are a boatload of new big bugs here that I have never seen before. They kinda make me nervous. Additionally, I feel like everywhere I go I walk through at least one spiderweb. Not like a huge spiderweb, but one string of web here and there. Ew, spiders....

On the good side, Garrett is our office manager this year, and he is fantastic!! He is so professional, so on top of things, and way on the ball. I am so incredibly relieved about that.

Thankfully, Adam found out that there is a Texas Roadhouse Grill here in bensalem! Woohoo! Texas Roadhouse is AMAZING!! We are going to eat there tonight and I am already drooling.

We have this monday off. I want to check out the mall down the road. Yay, new clothes!!
