Christmas Adam

Some of you may not know this (I didn’t), Christmas Adam is a holiday that happens every year. It falls on December 23rd. Adam came before Eve, so obviously Christmas Adam is the day before Christmas Eve. Ha ha ha, Adam D. informed me of this fun fact.

We recently left Ukraine. While there we visited Kyiv,

Chernivtsi,

(not too far from home, sister cities)

and finally Lv’iv.

We spent Christmas Adam in Venice. We didn’t expect to find rain and the streets flooded a few feet deep with water. Amateurs…

All in all, the city was stunning. We could have spent days exploring every little dead end (and then a few more days to find our way back out… lol).

Now we are in Austria for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We arrived at 4am to find that the train station (which we were planning to hang out at until it got light outside) is under construction and completely closed. So we sat on the floor of the cold metro station until McDonald’s opened. Mickey D’s has saved us a few times on this adventure.

Wishing you all a warm dry very Merry Christmas in a place where you have a bed. Oh, and we hope you had a Merry Christmas Adam yesterday. =)

  2. Ha ha ha!! That is highly unlikely since I used the last of the toilet paper before I left... There are lots of paper towels though if you need industrial strength. ;)

I hope you're having lots of loud parties, and feel free to break in anytime.
