Quilting Class

…yes, I signed up for another class. It was a beginning quilting class at Piper’s Quilts and Comforts in Salt Lake City. The final class was last night. The quilt I’ve been working on is far from finished, but I do have a crappy picture of a lovely quilt square to show off.

Hopefully I will be able to show you the finished quilt top in the very near future (rather than the very far future…). =)

  1. I think your square is lovely! I still think of you taking it to work...good times. ;) Yeah, I hope to have something done in the near future, although it's not looking too hopeful. Maybe the Tuesday in 3 weeks is a better option. Don't know, just let me know. :)

  2. I am so excited about your class! I did a square like that once and thought it was hard because the pieces are so small. I have been wanting to start sewing- I even have a quilt pattern all picked out -and I have for about 6 months...

  3. Go for it Jill! If you have any questions, ask Stephanie. =) She's the real quilting wiz.

  4. ha ha...um, i beg to differ on the wiz comment. although, i'm sure i could answer some basic questions since we were well trained by janette. especially if it involves an awl or rotary cutter lol j/k ;)
