Remember way back when, when I told you all about the new UCarShare program in Salt Lake City? Well I got my first opportunity to utilize it a few weekends ago.
I reserved a Ford F-150 to drive to South Weber. Besides the fact that it got stuck in the snow briefly (2-wheel drive…), it was a joy to drive! The truck’s odometer rolled over 100 miles as I drove it. I know!! Only 100! My little vehicle-loving heart fluttered a bit.
It was a great experience, and I can’t wait to drive another UCar (the Mazda 3 is calling my name. …loudly.)
You may wonder why I needed to drive to South Weber on that fine Saturday afternoon. Well, it was so that I could buy… (imagine the Price is Right’s announcer in your mind) A NEWWW CHAIR!!!!!
Ta Da! I found this beauty on ksl.com. I bought it for my upholstery class that I am now 2 weeks into. Pretty soon I’m going to introduce you all to horrid glorious things which look like this:
