Dressing Up

This is a shout out to the old school. When I was little, my best friend Mallory had a salon in her basement where her mom did hair. This was like a little girl dress up dream! We spent hours down there trying different hair styles, using her mom's hair products, dying our hair with temporary hair color, you name it. The possibilities were pretty much endless, and I feel confident saying we tried just about everything.

Mallory's mom had some old makeup palettes that, if we asked permission, we could use. Thinking about it now, it probably wasn't sanitary to share makeup with each other, but we are all still alive.

We had so much fun playing with the makeup and putting every imaginable color on our eyes, cheeks, lips, etc... After we went crazy with the makeup, we looked like a bunch of little girls who had been playing with makeup. Lol, I'd like to say that I became an amazing makeup artist after those test sessions, but it was more like coloring outside the lines.

Today I saw this:
It's like my childhood has begun again. Can you imagine having this many colors to play with?! Wow! This palette can be purchased from sephora.com for $48. I'm pretty sure it could make anyone's wildest dreams would come true... Lol.

Speaking of things I want... I'm probably just self-centered, but I keep sending Adam emails about what I want for christmas (like a Ninja suit!! Okay, it's really just full body long johns for snowboarding, but it has ninja in the name which is pretty much ultimate cool!). I'm 92% confident that Adam is deleting these emails. Only time will tell. =)
